Iran’s Short Film Competes in London

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 17th London Short Film Festival (LSFF) in the UK is set to screen Iran’s short film ‘Exam’.
According to the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Sonia Haddad’s ‘Exam’ will be screened in the festival’s "New Shorts” section.
"A teenage girl involves in the process of delivering a pack of cocaine to its client, and she got stuck in a weird cycle of occurrences,” a synopsis for the film reads.
‘Exam’ has attended several international festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada and the Uppsala International Short Film Festival in Sweden. It has also managed to win the Golden Star at the third El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt.
The film has been qualified for the short film category of the 2021 Oscars ceremony.
Earlier reports said the Iranian short film ‘Sluggish Life’ would also attend the LSFF.
The 17th edition of London Short Film Festival is slated for January 10-19, 2020.
