TEHRAN (Dispatches) – U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signaled his support for riots in Iran, which is struggling under illegal American sanctions.
"As I said to the people of Iran almost a year and a half ago: The United States is with you,” Pompeo said, retweeting a Persian-language tweet he sent out in July 2018. Later in November, Pompeo brazenly said in an interview with BBC Persian that Iranian officials must listen to Washington "if they want their people to eat."
