ADEN (Dispatches) – About four Houthi Ansarullah fighters and three Saudi-backed mercenaries have been killed in armed confrontations in Yemen's southwestern province of Taiz, a security official has told Xinhua.
The city center of Taiz is currently under the control of the former regime supporters, while the outskirts of the city and areas in the countryside of the province are still witnessing armed confrontations between pro-regime forces and the Houthi fighters.
The impoverished Arab country has been locked into a Saudi-led war since late 2014.
