Amid 'Security Challenges'

Zionist Opposition Party Leader to Meet Military Chief

AL-QUDS (Dispatches) – The Zionist regime’s opposition party leader Benny Gantz and Chief of the General Staff Aviv Kochavi will meet for a talk "in light of security challenges," the military said on Wednesday.
A military spokesperson said in a statement that the meeting will be held because of the recent "security challenges and regional developments."
The meeting has been scheduled following a request by Gantz, former military chief and chairman of the centrist Blue and White party.
The Zionist regime has been increasingly concerned by the recent withdrawal of the U.S. forces from Syria, fearing Iran, which the occupying regime considers its arch-foe, will establish permanent military bases in Syria.
The meeting also comes amid a post-election political deadlock, after both Gantz and incumbent Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not win enough votes to form a majority cabinet.
