Terrorists Continue to Block Civilians' Exit From Idlib

DAMASCUS (Dispatches) – Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at terrorists continue to prevent the civilians from passing through Idlib crossing.
The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted a battlefield source as saying that the terrorist groups headed by Al-Nusra Front terrorist group prevented the passage of civilians from Abu Al-Dhohour passage in southern Idlib towards safe regions in a move to use them as human shields against the advances by the Syrian Army.
The source also pointed to the terrorists' attacks on the Syrian Army's military points in Sahl al-Ghab region in northwestern Hama and southern Idlib, and said that the Syrian Army responded and pounded the terrorists' military positions with heavy artillery shelling in al-Sarmanieh axis in northwestern Hama and also southern Idlib and southeastern Idlib.
The Arabic-language website of the Russian Sputnik news agency also quoted a battlefield source as saying that the Russian and Syrian fighter jets pounded the operations room of Ajnad al-Qoqaz and Tahrir al-Sham terrorist groups in the surrounding areas of Baliseh town in Eastern Idlib before they could prepare for a massive attack on the Syrian Army's military positions in the region.
The military centers of the terrorists were fully destroyed and 30 terrorists, including notorious commanders, were killed or wounded, according to initial reports.
In a relevant development in late September, the Syrian Army during its mop-up operations discovered terrorists’ underground base packed with U.S.- and NATO-based weapons and missiles in southern Idlib.
The Arabic-language Sputnik news agency quoted a Syrian military source as saying that the Syrian Army troops discovered an underground military network of bases in al-Latameneh region which contained a main base for the deployment of about 5,000 terrorists.
It pointed to the terrorists’ attempts to launch attacks on the Syrian Army over the past four years by using foreign military equipment, and said that the government forces discovered U.S.-made missiles, weapons and rifles made in NATO member countries.
The Syrian military sources also said that the Syrian Army also discovered a workshop used for manufacturing drones and also found several drones equipped with bombs for attacking the Syrian Army’s military units.
