Researchers Introduce New Indigenized Medicines
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran unveiled 6 new indigenized medicines in a ceremony on Saturday.
The medicines that are designed for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular diseases are named Giomide, Norabex, Neurapa, Lotiva, Glorenta and Elacoite.
A number of these drugs have already been presented in the market and the rest will be supplied in a few months.
Iran has recently been taking steady steps in becoming self-sufficient in producing different types of medicines and medical equipment.
