Iran Overpower Sri Lanka at Asian Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iran have swept aside Sri Lanka at the 2019 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship.
In the 2019 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, team Iran have opened their campaign with a comfortable win over Sri Lanka.
The Iranians, who are hosts for this edition of the event, showed their dominance from the start, claiming the first set 25-15 and went on to win the 2nd at 25-17.
In the third set, however, Sri Lanka gave their hosts quite a hard time by taking a 21-19 lead, but Iran managed to pull level before wrapping up the opening game with a 25 to 23 win.
