Notorious Daesh Commander Killed in Syria’s Hasakah

DAMASCUS (Dispatches) – A high-ranking commander in charge of the Daesh terrorist group’s assassinations in Iraq’s Mosul is killed in northeastern Syria, the Kurdish militant sources said.
The Information Dissemination Center affiliated to the Syrian Democratic Forces in a statement announced that the SDF had killed Daesh’s senior security commander along Syria-Iraq border in a tunnel north of al-Shadadi in Hasakah countryside.
The Bass news website in a statement said that Abu Hares al-Araqi was responsible for Daesh’s assassinations in southern Mosul and was also security commander of Diyala province in 2013.
Last Friday, the Portuguese commander of the Daesh terrorist group's Foreign Militants Battalion was captured in northeastern Syria, media reports said.
