‘Knowledge-Based Companies Withstanding U.S. Sanctions’

TEHRAN (IFP) - Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari says the country’s knowledge-based companies and start-ups have already resisted the U.S. sanctions, and his office will keep providing unwavering support for them in doing so.
During a visit to the city of Arak, Sattari said his administration will vigorously support the knowledge-based business and start-ups.
The official also noted that the plans to counter the foreign sanctions have proved successful after coordination with the local knowledge-based companies, which he said have capitalized on the capabilities of local forces and have manufactured indigenous products.
He further unveiled plans for offering a broad range of assistance to the knowledge-based enterprises, such as supplying raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry and animal husbandry, as well as veterinary and human vaccines.
