Crude Oil Production in North Yaran Field Up
TEHRAN (Shana) – Iran’s crude oil production from North Yaran Oilfield has increased by 1,000 b/d, an official with the developer of the field said.
Speaking to Shana, Mohammad Ali Ajdari, caretaker of a project to develop the field at the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), said the boost was made possible once a downhole pump (ESP) was stabilized in the joint oilfield.
The field is currently being developed for 30,000 b/d of production capacity.
Iran shares the field with Iraq.
