Cinematic Event to Honor Iranian Artists
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Famed director and film photographer are set to be honored at gala organized by Iranian Society of Still Photographer.
Director Sirous Alvand and veteran film photographer Hossein Maleki will be honored at the 5th edition of Iranian Still Photographers Celebration to be held on August 15, 2019.
The event, directed by Ali Nikraftar, annually honors artists showcasing a special outlook on cinema through the window of still photography.
ifilm has aired two movies 'Tainted Hands' and 'Accident' by Alvand. The director has also been at the helm of the TV series ‘The Weary-Hearted’ (2009) and the made-for-TV film ‘Burnt Stars’ (2010).
Still photographer Malki is an actor too. He has appeared in movies such as 'Mr. Habib' and 'Oath'.
