TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short ‘Pain is Mine’ has won an award at the 2019 Boston Short Film Festival in the U.S.
Directed by Farshid Akhlaghi, the short documentary has bagged the experimental film award from the latest edition of the American annual film event that showcases short films with an edge.
The short shows in a long take the life of a senior lady who is addicted to taking pain killers.
‘Pain is Mine’ has so far attended a number of international film events including the Brussels Short Film Festival.
The Boston Short Film Festival seeks to empower the next generation of artists.
The latest edition of the festival was held on July 8-12, 2019.
