TEHRAN (Dispatches) -- Iran’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif on Saturday left Tehran for New York to attend the annual gathering of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Foreign Ministry announced.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi, Zarif will later leave the U.S. for Venezuela, where he would attend the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). While in Caracas, Zarif will also hold bilateral talks with top Venezuelan officials.
