FM Zarif Holds Talks in Ashgabat
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif and his Turkmen counterpart, Rasit Meredow, on Monday held talks on a host of issues, including ways to boost bilateral relations in diverse political and economic spheres.
Meredow described Zarif’s trip to Turkmenistan as "very important and timely” and underlined his country’s "political will” to boost bilateral relations with Iran in all areas. Zarif, for his part, hailed the growing ties between Tehran and Ashgabat and said the commonalities between the two countries are more than just being neighbors.
