TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iran's female Wushu fighter Elaheh Mansourian ranked first in China championship league on Monday and grabbed a gold medal.
Mansourian said that she is a member of Shanghai team and had to compete with a very powerful Chinese rival.
She also outlined a number of difficulties she had before achieving this ranking.
The Iranian athlete said she had lots of hope for compensating her earlier defeat against her Chinese rival.
Given a course of tough exercises she experienced, she said her victory will shed light on her future.
Elaheh Mansourian is an Iranian wushu athlete who competes in the sanda 52 kg category.
She snatched the world titles in 2013 and 2017 and grabbed three medals at the Asian Games in 2014–2018.
