TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Iran registered with Azerbaijan a 3.4 percent boost in their trade exchanges from January to March 2019, standing at $230.637 million.

Azerbaijani exports to Iran exceeded $11 million during the first three months of the year, while its imports from Iran hit $219.631 million.

Back in 2017, Iran and Azerbaijan recorded a 30 percent surge in their trade turnover, a reflection of their strong and close bilateral relations.

During the nine months to December, Iran traded 702,062 tons of non-oil commodities with Azerbaijan to reach $326.91 million.
