Oil Sales Will Go On Without Problem: Iran

TEHRAN (Dsipatches) – Member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said the experience of bypassing sanctions have enabled Tehran to keep selling oil in the current Iranian year without any trouble.
"It is impossible for the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and Iranian people to drive Iran's oil exports down to zero,” Tasmin news agency quoted the lawmaker.
The U.S.’ unilateral sanctions against Iran have not received a welcome from the international community and a number of countries have announced formally that they would not abide by the sanctions, the lawmaker added.
"According to reports from the officials, the sale of Iran’s oil in the current (Iranian) year will face no specific problem,” Naqavi Hosseini added, noting that Iran has learnt how to bypass the sanctions and has gained the experience of selling oil.
The U.S. government imposed a new round of sanctions on Iran in November 2018.
In May 2018, the U.S. president pulled his country out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the nuclear deal that was achieved in Vienna in 2015 after years of negotiations among Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the U.S., Britain, France and Germany).
The U.S. had announced plans to drive Iran’s oil exports down to zero, but backed off from its policy and granted waivers to at least 8 countries that import Iranian oil.
