It was not for no reason that the Father of the Islamic Revolution had hailed the 22nd of the Iranian month of Bahman as "Youmollah” or the Day of God.
Imam Khomeini (RA), whose foresight penetrated the future, knew that every year on this day which in 1979 had liberated the nation from domestic despotism and US hegemony, the Iranian people would continue to turn into nightmares the daydreams of the Great Satan to re-impose.
Yesterday was the 40th anniversary of this Divine Day, and once again the devils in Washington became despondent of their desire to undermine the sacred Islamic system of government in Iran through massive propaganda, through the threats of Trump, through the theatrics of the illegal Zionist regime, and through traitorous terrorists that are despised by all strata of the Iranian society.
Even the adversities of weather cannot stop enthusiastic masses who have seen the brilliant achievements of the Islamic Republic in various fields over the past four decades in spite of the sanctions imposed by their cowardly enemies, from expressing their support for the leadership and displaying their determination to defeat all plots against the nation.
If Tehranis braved rainfall to hold yet another multi-million march on the streets of the capital on Monday, millions of other Iranians manifested their innermost desires throughout the length and breadth of the Islamic Republic, as temperatures plummeted below the freezing point and the clouds rained snows in several towns and cities.
We are not concerned here about the conjectures of the idiots who rule the roost in Washington, and whose effigies along with the Zionist flag went up in flames throughout Iran.
The message from the Islamic Republic is loud and clear. "Death to the US” is among the fundamental slogans of the Iranian people.
Of course, as pointed out by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, this ritualistic chanting of the Iranian people is not directed at the American people, but at the US administration, especially the current troika of evil – Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo, and John Bolton.
Forty years have firmed up the resolve of the Islamic Republic to continue its dynamic policies in making the country self-sufficient in all fields, including nuclear technology, aerospace, and ballistic missile projects, as well as increase its influence in the region and the world, in response to the requests of the people and governments of various countries, struggling against dictators, terrorism, and American hegemony.
