Chabahar Best Strategic Point for Investment: Official
CHABAHAR (Dispatches) - Managing Director of Chabahar Free Trade and Industrial Zone Abdo Rarim Kordi has said is Iran’s best strategic point for domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and investors, as it is connected to free and oceanic waters.
"Chabahar is one of the significant Iranian points, as it provides the best chance for reducing burden of U.S. oppressive sanctions against Iran,” he said.
Seminar and Exhibition of Sistan-Baluchestan Investment Opportunities is held annually in Chabahar to introduce investment opportunities in the region, Kordi said.
Describing Chabahar as the gateway for development of eastern Iran, he said that it can play a crucial role in trade and transit of goods, after its transportation infrastructure is completed.
"Chabahar is the only point of Iran that can prepare suitable conditions for the country’s economy outside the economic sanctions through cooperation and synergy of different sectors,” he said.
The First Seminar-cum-Exhibition of Sistan-Baluchestan Investment Opportunities opened on Friday and wrapped up on Saturday.
