Iran, Azerbaijan Draft New Security Deal

BAKU (Dispatches) -- Iran’s Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi said Sunday that the intelligence services of the country and neighboring Azerbaijan have agreed on a draft deal to boost security ties.
Speaking after a meeting with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev here, Alavi said there are good interactions between the intelligence and security services of the two countries. "Combating global terrorism, organized crime and illicit drugs smuggling and exchanging information is the main part of the cooperation and relations between the two countries' intelligence services.”
