Sanctions Only Hurt Ordinary Iranians: Zarif
TEHRAN (Dispatches) -- Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif on Sunday reiterated the ineffectiveness of U.S. sanctions on Iran’s policies, saying they only hurt "ordinary Iranians."
In a post on his official Twitter account, Zarif pointed to his participation in the Doha Forum 2018 in Qatar and said he had told the conference that U.S. sanctions have never worked. "They (sanctions) hurt ordinary Iranians but don't change (Iran’s) policy," he said.
