Artist Mahmoud Farshchian Paintings Exhibition Kicks Off in Kazakhstan

TEHRAN (Dispatches) - An exhibition of the Iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian was opened in Astana, Kaakhstan.
Nearly 20 works of the master were brought to the capital.
 The miniaturist is well known worldwide. His style features phantasmagoric or fantasy stories with birds, flowers and people which are painted in bright colors.
 The artist masterfully combines classical canons of Persian miniature with the western art school. The palaces of the Queen of United Kingdom and the Queen of the Netherlands are decorated with Farschchian’s paintings, besides Iranian and foreign museums.
This is the first exhibition of the Iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian in Kazakhstan.
It is organized to mark Astana’s anniversary. The best works from the artist’s art museum in Tehran were brought to Astana. The paintings display the national art of Iran.
Mahmoud Farshchian is also working on the reconstruction of the famous Islamic world mausoleums.
