The Istanbul Summit of the Emergency Session of the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the continued massacre of the innocents in Gaza by the illegal Zionist entity, could be called a positive event and a step in the right direction, if Muslim countries succeed in materializing an important point of the final communique, that is, "deployment of an international force to protect the Palestinian people against Israeli crimes.”
To be frank, the vociferous condemnation of the Zionist entity and its equally criminal godfather, the US, by the OIC gathering will not affect the least the terrorist policies of Tel Aviv or Washington.
It is also naïve to expect the UN to form an international investigation committee into the recent atrocities in the Gaza Strip – as demanded by the OIC Summit – for the simple reason the World Body neither represents the Muslim Ummah nor has any interest in defending Muslim interests, let alone the plight of the Palestinians, since the powers which rule it are anti-Islamic.
At a time when the enemies of Islam are single-mindedly doing their dirty and devilish work of sowing seeds of discord amongst Muslims, those really concerned about Palestine or other Islamic issues, should knit ranks and coordinate views for concrete solution, to not just the chronic question of the occupied Islamic holy city of Bayt al-Moqaddas, but to all other crucial Muslim matters as well.
For instance, the roguish US president, Donald Trump, who is an open enemy of Islam and Muslims, should not be allowed to proceed ahead with his satanic plans.
He deserves the highest degree of punishment for moving the US embassy to Bayt al-Moqaddas, as world Muslims helplessly watched, without summoning the courage to physically confront the Great Satan.
This is all because of the drifting away of the Muslims from the teachings of the holy Qur’an, as recently pointed out by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who drew the Ummah’s attention to ayah 29 of Surah Fath, saying: "The Qur’an tells us to be tough against the enemies of religion and infidels, and be kind among yourselves; however, due to aloofness from the Quran today, we are witnessing war and conflict among Muslims in the world of Islam and submission to infidels.”
The Leader whose calls for a fair solution to the issue of Palestine through a referendum has continued to be ignored by the UN, was confident that "By God’s grace, Palestine will be liberated from the clutches of enemies and the US and its puppets cannot do a damn thing in the face of truth and divine order.”     
It should be noted that immediately after the victory of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (RA), who had always insisted on weeding out of the cancerous tumour called Israel from the map of West Asia, had designated the Last Friday of the Fasting Month of Ramadhan as "International Qods Day” in order to mobilize world Muslims and conscientious people all over the globe for the cherished goal of liberation of Islam’s 3rd holiest city, Bayt al-Moqaddas and the al-Aqsa Mosque.       
For the past forty years, as heads of most Muslim states hesitated to marshal resources to redress the plight of the Palestinians, the Islamic Republic of Iran spared no efforts to mold them into a fighting force, the dividends of which are evident in the steadfastness of Hamas and Islamic Jihad today and their refusal to yield to the brutalities of the Zionists.
On the northern side of Occupied Palestine, Lebanon’s legendry anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, the only force to defeat Israel in a war, has scared the daylights out of the Zionists.
Unfortunately, some treacherous regimes, instead of supporting Hamas and Hezbollah, have branded them ‘terrorists’ on the instructions of their masters in Washington and London, and are placing all sorts of impediments in the struggle for liberation of Palestine and Bayt al-Moqaddas.
In view of this hypocrisy, it is essential for the conscientious leaders of Muslim countries to close ranks for the sake of Islam, the Qur’an, and obedience to the commandments of God Almighty.
Let us hope the emphasis of the OIC Summit on formation of an international force for protection of Palestinians, will not remain an emotional clause on paper, but work should start immediately for building such a force and the equipment it requires.
If when such a force is assembled, it should not be a passive one, or merely stationed on the southern borders of Gaza or the parts of the western boundary of the West Bank – if Israel permits – but should be ready for active thrust into the heart of the illegal Zionist entity.
Hezbollah’s charismatic leader, Seyyed Hassan Nasrollah, has emphasized, if Israel starts the next round of battle it will face a huge international Muslim force converging on Bayt al-Moqaddas for the final blow to the Zionists.
