TEHRAN (IFILM) - Iran’s Dramatic Arts Center has appointed Nader Borhani Marand as secretary of the Fajr International Theater Festival.
The director of Iran’s Dramatic Arts Center, Shahram Karami told the media that Borhani Marand has been selected as the secretary of the festival.
Borhani Marand replaced Farhad Mohandespur who took the position in June 2017.
The annual Fajr International Theater Festival has been held in Iran since 1983, featuring local and international theatrical works and performers.
The festival is held during the Fajr Celebrations, which marks the anniversary of the ten days from the return of Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic, to Iran (February 1) until the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11) in 1979.
The 36th edition of the event was held on January 18-29, 2018.
