Fajr Festival Special Event Goes Down Storm With Pupils

TEHRAN (IFILM)--Over four thousand pupils have attended "The Seventh Hour” special section of Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.
The impressive number of student audiences went to screening sessions of selected films targeting young viewers such as ‘The Elephant King’ by Hadi Mohammadian and ‘The Little Prince’ by Mark Osborne, reports the festival’s media release.
"The 7th Hour' section”, designed for younger audience, will run in collaboration with Isfahan International Film Festival for Children & Youth, the Ministry of Education and Tehran Municipality till April 25.
Established in 1982, the FIFF celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.
Since its establishment, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
Directed by Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of the FIFF has been slated for April 19-27, 2018, in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
