GAZA (Dispatches) – The Zionist regime’s tanks stationed on the border between eastern Gaza Strip and the occupied territories fired several tank shells into the coastal enclave, injuring five Palestinians, medics said Wednesday.
Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesman of the health ministry in Gaza said in a short text message that five Palestinians were injured by the shrapnel of an Israeli tank shell fired on an area east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis close to the fence.
He said the five casualties were in moderate condition and were evacuated to hospital in the city.
Meanwhile, Palestinian troops and eyewitnesses said that the Israeli artillery fired several tank shells on eastern Khan Younis, targeting a military facility that belongs to resistance groups in the coastal enclave.
