TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Advisor to the Iranian parliament speaker Hussein Amir Abdullahian has stressed  that Tehran and Paris can help promote regional peace and stability through talks and consultations.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran lays emphasis on the settlement of the regional crises in Syria, Yemen, Libya and Bahrain through talks and the positive trend of Iran and France's consultations on the regional issues will help strengthen peace and stability in the region," Amir Abdullahian said in a meeting with a French delegation led by Jacques Hogart in Tehran.
He also said that abundant proper grounds for the further expansion of ties between Tehran and Paris, expressing the hope that bilateral relations would further develop and deepen.
Senior Iranian and French officials in a meeting in Paris in November reviewed the latest international and regional developments as well as broadening of mutual cooperation.
