US Forces Should End Ttheir Illegal Presence

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Strange logic of the aggressors indeed!
The Americans have come all the way from the other side of the world to our region, and without having the permission of the Syrian government have stationed their occupation troops in Syria to train terrorists in order to destabilize the country, and are then saying with impudence that their mission is to confront the officially invited Iranian advisors, since the presence of Iran in Syria is a danger to US interests.
It should be called the height of stupidity by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to speak in such an irrational manner, especially in view of the fact that there are no Iranians, or for that matter, any Arab or Turkish forces, in the vicinity of the US, say in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tillerson deserves to be brought to his senses for speaking in such a language. The UN ought to pass a Security Council resolution against Washington’s violation of international laws.
For the information of the US, the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a selfish country to speak of its own interests. Whenever it speaks, it speaks of collective Islamic interests of the whole region, including those of the Arabs, the Turks, the Kurds, the Pakistanis and all other neighbouring nations.
This means the US 4th Fleet has no right to be in Bahrain. It should pack up and leave, because its presence is against the interests of the Bahraini and all other regional people.
The repressive Aal-e Khalifa minority regime does not represent the Bahraini people, nor is the Aal-e Saud Wahhabi cult the representative of the people it has been ruling ever since Britain gifted its salaried servant, Abdul-Aziz, the desert brigand of Najd with a spurious kingdom in 1932.
To be more precise the Americans, if they want to safeguard their interests, they should not even venture into Latin America, leave alone Europe or Southeast Asia. They should be around the geographical periphery of the US.
For too long we have spoken in a soft diplomatic tone to the Great Satan, which we think receives the right treatment from North Korea, and knows that if it were to act arrogantly against Russia and China, it would be given a worst spanking than what Kim Jong-un regularly does.
The US doesn’t seem to understand the language of etiquette and mutual respect. If Washington dares to challenge the Iranians in Syria, Iraq or any other country, to which they have been invited by the governments of the said countries with the support of the popular forces, it would be courting disaster.
Hope the US is wise enough to heed the warning.
