Aal-e Khalifa’s Dance with the Devils

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

"Birds of the same flock feather flock together,” goes a famous English adage. It has equivalents in Persian and Arabic as well, and of course, in Hebrew, a language in which the reactionary regimes ruling certain Arab states are more fluent than their own mother tongue.
While Muslims all over the world are angrily protesting the recent decision of the quixotic US president, Donald Trump, to shift the American embassy to the occupied Islamic holy city of Bayt al-Moqaddas, and while Palestinians are being indiscriminately gunned down by the Zionist usurpers of their homeland, the repressive Aal-e Khalifa minority regime of Bahrain has sent a delegation to the illegal entity called Israel to promote contacts in various fields – especially how to more rigourously torture and kill members of the Persian Gulf island state’s long-suppressed majority.
Recently a video clip went viral of Bahraini officials in Kafiyahs dancing with gay abandon with Zionists in Kippahs. It was indeed a satanic scene, or more properly a dance of the devils.
Rather than feeling ashamed of their betrayal of Muslims, Islam’s First Qibla, and the Palestinian Cause, it was the height of hypocrisy for the Aal-e Khalifa to say through an American Jewish spokeswoman, Betsy Mathieson: "Everyone has total freedom. They are free to carry out their religious rites and worship in safety and security. It’s not a problem for anyone in Bahrain.”
Religious freedom, really! Then, how come, so far over fifty mosques and Hussainiyahs of Shi’ite Muslims have been desecrated and destroyed over the past few years by the regime’s mercenaries, who trample under feet religious banners and even ayahs of the holy Qur’an.
What about the disrespect shown to Bahrain’s senior-most religious leader, Ayatollah Shaikh Isa Qasim, who despite his deteriorating health and recent surgery, continues to be under house arrest?
Is it respect for civil liberties by the regime to cancel the citizenship of the sons of the soil whose forefathers have been living in Bahrain for centuries, if not millenniums, in contrast to the Aal-e Khalifas, whose pirate forbears of the Khor Abdullah waterway near Basra, are relative newcomers, having seized Bahrain a little over two centuries ago, when Iran was in a weakened state?
What kind of Muslims are these reactionary regimes of the Arabian Peninsula who have now begun to cohort openly with the Americans and the Zionists, but mercilessly suppress their own populations, in addition to bombing Yemen to bits, and breeding Takfiri terrorists to destabilize Muslim lands from Africa to Central Asia?
No wonder, protestors in Gaza, Bayt al-Moqaddas, Jordan, Lebanon, and other places are making a bonfire these days of the effigies of certain Arab leaders, whom them regard to be traitors, such as King Salman of Saudi Arabia and his self-imposed Heir Apparent, Mohamed (the notorious Jewish-loving MBS).
To quote Bahraini religious activist, Sheikh Maytham as-Salman: "The Aal-e Khalifa regime has failed to follow a just and inclusive policy in its relationship with the majority of its citizens; it has also failed to convince the international community that it respects the freedom and religious rights of the majority of its citizens.”
As a matter of fact, it is not the first time that the Aal-e Khalifa have been caught in open dalliance with the Zionists. The regime has a long history of kowtowing to Israel and the Americans, as was evident by the appointment of a Jewish lady of Iraqi extraction and British nationality, Houda Nonoo, as Bahrain’s ambassador to the US from 2008 to 2013.
This is indicative of the deep animosity with Muslims and Islamic causes of the neo Jahiliyya Arabs, who like their progenitors, the pagan Arabs of Hijaz, who never missed an opportunity to gang up with the Jews against Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), are hand-in-glove with the Israelis to not just kill the Palestinian cause but backstab the Ummah by ignoring the aspirations of world Muslims for the liberation of Bayt al-Moqaddas.
If the Aal-e Khalifa regime thinks that the US 5th Fleet based in Bahrain will continue to prop up its repressive rule, or Israel will pour in Zionist commandos to suppress the awakened majority of the island state, they are grossly mistaken.
The defeat of the Daesh terrorists in Iraq and Syria despite the massive support provided by the Americans, the Zionists and the Saudis to these enemies of humanity, should be an eye-opener for the regime and the consequences awaiting, particularly after the Aal-e Khalifa’s shameless dance with the Zionist devils while Palestine and Bayt al-Moqaddas burn.
