TEHRAN (Dispatches) -- A commander in Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and another Iranian fighter have been martyred fighting Daesh in Syria in recent days, Iranian media reported Sunday.
Kheyrollah Samadi, an IRGC commander in charge of a unit in Syria, was martyred on Thursday in fighting with Daesh in the Albukamal region, according to Fars News. Another Iranian fighter, Mehdi Movahednia, was martyred on Saturday in clashes with Daesh in the town of Mayadin in eastern Syria, the news agency added.
