Trump’s UN Theatrics May Badly Boomerang

By Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Was Don Quixote at his brilliant best – charging multi-armed giants (windmills) – or was Saddam reincarnated at the UN?
These are among the questions doing the rounds in the international media circles after watching and listening to the theatrics of US president, Donald Trump, from the podium of the United Nations HQ in New York at the 72nd General Assembly Session.
The poor guy made a laughing stock of himself all over the world. It was obvious that he was being ridden by Lucifer himself, when he blurted lies, accusations and threats by trying to distort facts and realities in a clumsy manner.
Leaving aside his bluster to totally destroy North Korea whose Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is sure to have the last laugh by depicting Trump as no more than a person living in a glass house that would shatter the moment its idiotic occupant were to fire a missile, the blond man in the White House built by black labour on the usurped soil of the exterminated ‘Redskins’ (Amerindians), sounded hysterical when referring to Iran.
Does Trump, whose speech was denounced as "shameless” and "medieval” by Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, think that the Islamic Republic is a banana republic or Bantustan, to be pushed around and bullied by the gangsters in Washington?
It seems he has done poor homework. His speech writers certainly included Zionists and Wahhabis – both dyed-in-the-wool terrorists, destabilizers of neighbouring states, and destroyers of the heritage of the past (of Palestine and Hijaz respectively) – as is evident by his wild accusations of calling Iran the prime supporter of terrorists and fomenter of unrest in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
No wonder, those who applauded his idiotic remarks included the Zionist "child-killer” premier Benjamin Netanyahu and the Zionist-looking Adel Jubeir, who grew up in the laps of the Saudi Sheikhs and owes his foreign ministerial post to these mass murderers, who created the cannibalistic takfiri terrorists and whose aircraft daily rain down the most lethal US-supplied bombs and missiles on the poor people of Yemen.
Who are the real terrorists? Is it Iran which is defending the defenceless people by mobilizing popular support in their own countries against foreign funded aggressions, or the US, the Zionist entity and Saudi Arabia?
Does Trump, whose only aim is to fleece the regime in Riyadh of its oil wealth, really believe the regime in Riyadh, where women cannot drive cars and where there is no question of popular vote, let alone the frequent bouts of mayhem in the eastern Shi’a Muslim regions, the supporter of peace and stability?
The man is harebrained if he thinks his rhetoric will compel Iran to renegotiate the JCPOA on fears that the dangerously nuclear-powered US might resort to military action against a country, whose Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has said in explicit words that nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction are "haram” since Islam does not condone collective killings and wiping out of all and sundry (innocent men, women and children).
The Iranian people, as they have proved over the past decades, with trust in God and faith in the popular Islamic system, are made of sterner staff, whom no storms or quakes can move them from their steadfast positions.
Trump’s late ideological brother Saddam had thundered these very same threats, tore in front of TV cameras the 1975 Algiers border accord he himself had signed, and then sent his tanks and aircraft to attack Iran in the vain hope of changing the regional map, but ended up eating the humble pie as the border accord (like the JCPOA) still stands, while the Ba’thist dictator and his clique of thugs have vanished into oblivion.
It is now crystal clear that Donald Trump is headed for the same fate that befell Saddam, and sooner or later will meet it.
At a time when the US trained forces (takfiris and terrorists of all hue and colour) have been defeated on all fronts, unable to take Beirut, Damascus, and Baghdad – thanks to the popular mobilization forces of the said countries, including Lebanon’s legendry anti-terrorist movement, whose very names sends shivering down the spine of the Zionists and makes US generals lose their sleep – Trump thinks that his threats will scare Iran and its people.
Sadly, the UN lacks executive powers and the courage to safeguard the spirit of its own charter, otherwise Donald Trump would have been judged guilty of spreading hatred and terror, and handed the due punishment for his heinous crimes.
