TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iranian lawmakers on Saturday continued examining the credentials of President Hassan Rouhani’s proposed ministers for the fourth day before a vote of confidence on 17 nominees.
The fate of the cabinet is expected to be decided on Sunday, amid reports that one or two ministers will not receive enough votes to make it to the cabinet. Half of the proposed cabinet has remained unchanged compared to the first term. Meanwhile, Rouhani has not proposed a minister for the post of sciences, research, and technology yet.
