TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Senior Iranian commander Major General Qassem Soleimani on Tuesday hailed the role of Hashd al-Sha’abi in liberation of Mosul, saying terrorists’ defeat in Iraq and elsewhere has thwarted U.S. and Israeli plots to "bring Iran to its knees.”
"The U.S. and Israel presumed that they could bring Iran to its knees by creating a current and an ideological army but they failed to implement their strategy in the region,” commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Quds Force said in a gathering of IRGC personnel here.
