‘Retouch’ Wins Audience Award in Portugal



TEHRAN (MNA) – Iranian director Kaveh Mazaheri’s ‘Retouch’ won the Audience Award at 25th Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival in Portugal and the film crew presented the award to the late math genius Maryam Mirzakhani.
Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, short movie Retouch is about a young woman, whose husband is trapped under a halter during a workout, but she declines to save him and, consequently, he dies.
The film has won the award for best short film at the 18th Iran Cinema Celebration and Best Film Award at Iran's 34th Fajr Film Festival. Retouch will enjoy its next international screening at the 57th Krakَw Film Festival in Poland.
