National Participation

KAYHAN: It is not that hard for the government to issue participation bonds in order to sell them and participate people in the development projects of oil and gas. This way they can pay the interests to people and not French or Chinese firms. People are more than willing to invest in national development projects. All they need is government will to make that happen.

Against IRGC

JAVAN: Those who are against the activities of IRGC in national development plans and defence are only working for the U.S. government. They are America’s agents. Criticism is not same as disrespect and libel. We can even criticise the IRGC. But we shouldn’t replace it with libel. Since 1979, Washington has always tried to undermine the revolution and the republic. The IRGC is standing in its way.

Closed Government

RESALAT: President Rouhani says the production sector is standing on its feet because it is under the influence of doping. He says 90 percent of government budget goes to current expenditures. He wants to talk to people. He has so many press outlets, so many national and international conferences. Still he claims he cannot talk to people directly.

Domestic Front

VATAN EMROOZ: Some 80 percent of our problems have their roots within the country. We should not look for answers outside the borders. Despite the sanctions and restrictions, we can fix our problems through structural reforms. It was naive on the part of the government to assume that by talking to the U.S. it could fix our problems. America would never change its hostile course against Iran through the diplomacy of smile.
