MOSCOW (Dispatches) – Brazil’s minister of defense, in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart that marked the first such get-together in 40 years, on Wednesday called for close cooperation with Iran in the fight against terrorism.
Defense ministers of Iran and Brazil met for the first time in about 40 years here on the sidelines of the Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS) in Russia. Hailing the relations between Tehran and Brasilia as "historic”, Brazilian Defense Minister Raul Belens Jungmann Pinto called for expansion of ties in all fields.
