Iran U-20 Football Team in Tough Group: Coach

TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iran has been drawn in a tough group at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the head coach of Iran under-20 national football team Amir Hossein Peyrovani said.
Iran has been drawn against two-time World champion Portugal, Zambia and Costa Rica in Group C of the competition.
"At the first look, it seems we have been in an easy group but we will have a difficult task to advance,” Peyrovani said.
"Portugal is one of the best teams in the world and has introduced so many famous players to world. The Portuguese team has qualified for the World Cup easily, while the Netherlands, Serbia and Ukraine failed to book their places,” he added.
"We will hold a 10-day training camp in Germany. Iran U-20 football team will play Hamburg and a senior team from Denmark in the camp,” Peyrovani concluded.
The 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be played in six venues across South Korea Republic from May 20 to June 11, 2017.
