Iran Eager to Receive Albanian Tourism Investors

TEHRAN (MNA) – Iranian Vice-President Ahmadipour said Iran would welcome Albanian investors for construction of tourism infrastructure.
Zahra Ahamadipour, Vice-President and Head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, made the remarks on Sunday at a meeting with the visiting Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati.
She highlighted that the country would support investment by foreign parties given the positive atmosphere available after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
She further voiced readiness to hold exhibitions, conferences as well as promoting interaction among artists of both countries.
The official expressed hope that Tehran and Tirana will resume collaborations after two decades of hiatus and deemed expansion of cultural relations as a prerequisite to deepening bilateral ties or strengthening political collaborations.
Ahmadipour, while pointing to the excellent capacity for exchange of tourists between Iran and Albania, explaining that Iran was a country with rich cultural heritage and age-old history which offered great opportunities in historical and cultural tourism, features which held huge interest for tourists all over the world, European ones in particular.
Also at the meeting, Albania’s Bushati underlined that his visit to Iran was in indication of his country’s willingness to bolster relations with Iran in all fields.
He also stated that in view of existing capacities of the two sides, cultural ties between the two sides will grow rapidly.
