Iran’s ‘A157’ Awarded by India’s Library Film Festival




TEHRAN (MNA) – Library International Film Festival of India has declared top three films, including Behrouz Nouranipour’s chilling war documentary ‘A157’.
Library International Film Festival (LIFF) is a part of the multi-dimensional ‘World’s Largest and Most Secure Film Library” to be constructed in Jaipur jointly by the ‘Jaipur International Film Festival Trust’ and the ‘Jaipur International Film Festival- JIFF’. The library is right now under planning stage.

'Enclave' directed by Goran Radovanovic/ Feature Fiction/ From Serbia/ 92 min
TOP 2ND FILM
'93 Notout' directed by Arudra/ Short Fiction/ From India/ 20 Min
TOP 3RD FILM
'A157' directed by Behrouz Nouranipour/ Documentary Feature/ From Iran/ 73 Min
SPECIAL JURY MENTION
'Jhelum' directed by Rakesh Gogna/ Short Fiction/ From India/ 38 Min
The shocking documentary 'A157' which won the Special Jury Award at Iran’s Cinéma Véritére, relates the horrors of war and terrorism in Syria, especially on women and children.
LIFF, held on 21-23 October, received a total of 303 films from 35 countries, with 21 films of 13 countries nominated.
