Zarif, Lebanese Counterpart Hold Talks
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif and his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Basil, in a telephone conversation on Wednesday, conferred on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.
Zarif and Bassil underlined the need for proper measures by the international bodies to stop Israel's aggressions against the defenseless Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Zarif contacted Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal and Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ramazan Abdullah to discuss the latest developments.
