TEHRAN (Tasnim) – President Hassan Rouhani here on Tuesday voiced his concerns about the conditions of Muslims in Myanmar, saying Iran is ready to help the country improve its relations with Muslims.
"We hope that (Muslim) minorities in Myanmar will continue their daily life without facing any problems," President Rouhani told Myanmar's new ambassador to Tehran, U Aung Khin Soe. The president said Iran is prepared to help resolve Muslims’ problems in Myanmar in cooperation with the government. He said Iran is ready to promote bilateral relations with Myanmar.
