33rd Tehran Intl. Filmfest. Hosts Filmmakers From 117 Countries
TEHRAN (MNA) – Filmmakers from 117 countries across the world have submitted their productions to the secretariat of the 33rd Tehran International Film Festival, scheduled for 1-6 December, 2016.
The deadline for submitting films to the international section of the 33rd edition of Tehran Intl. Film Festival was May 21, 2016.
Filmmakers from 117 countries have submitted their short films to the festival, including Iceland, Vietnam, South Africa, Albania, Peru, Thailand, Venezuela, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Syria, Afghanistan, Algeria and Uruguay.
The 33rd edition of Tehran Intl. Film Festival organized by The Iranian Youth Cinema Society will be held on 1-6 December, 2016 in Tehran.
In 2014 the festival had received almost 3000 films from 104 countries and in 2015 it reached to 3601 films from 108 countries around the world.
