Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham offered the Islamic Republic’s sympathy to the bereaved families of victims of the brutal attacks and also the government of Nigeria. She said the spread of extremism and terrorism is a common threat to the world, urging all countries across the globe to make efforts to battle this inhumane phenomenon.
