In the presidential elections of the weightlifting federation held at the Iran’s Academy Olympic, Moradi secured 24 of the 37 votes available, followed by Ahmad Sa’adatamand with 8 votes and Koroush Bagheri with five votes.
Moradi will remain in the post until 2019.
"Right now, we should improve infrastructure across the country. We will organize technical committee as soon as possible to make the best decision on our weightlifting teams,” Moradi told reporters.
