TEHRAN – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the student volleyball team that recently won the world championships in Serbia for a meeting on Wednesday.
Iran claimed the title of the International Students Federation (ISF) World School Volleyball Championship Sunday night.
 The Iranian boys claimed the title after gaining seven victories in a row.
The Persians swept past Germany 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 26-24) in the final match, held in Belgrade, capital of Serbia.
Iran had previously defeated Germany in Pool D as well as Belgium and Uganda.
Iran also defeated Chinese Taipei in the semifinals before beating Germany once again in the final match.
