What is a truce? 
It is cessation of hostilities and return to peace.  
In case of an armed conflict, it is an agreement for ceasefire by both belligerents who ought to restore the status quo, withdraw forces, and pledge not to attack each other.
Truce often requires identification of war criminals and war reparations by the aggressor party which should be penalized, and on the basis of firm clauses prevented from any pretext to resume its one-sided war on the weak party.
Truce certainly doesn’t mean the aggressed party should yield to the high-handed demands of the aggressor through the pressures of those funding the slaughter and providing lethal weapons for the carnage.
This is the hapless situation in holocaust-stricken Gaza, where despite the genocide of the past seven months and massacre of so far 35,000 civilians, in addition to the destruction of the infrastructure, the persecuted Palestinians who have become strangers in their own ancestral lands are being mercilessly killed by the occupiers dictating the terms of war and then demanding a meaningless peace, which is nothing but a pause in the hostilities for further mass murders in future.
Usurper Israel wants the Palestinian Resistance Movements to hand over to it what it calls ‘hostages’, but who are actually Israelis taken to Gaza on October 7 at the start of the heroic Operation Al-Aqsa Storm to save them from sure death at the hands of the Zionist armed forces.
In return the Zionist entity says it might release a few of the tens of thousands of Palestinians it has unjustly jailed and might stop (without any concrete guarantee) its present savage campaign of death and destruction for some unspecified number of days before resuming its aggression with full force.
Is this a truce? Does it lead to peace and solution for the chronic question of Zionist-usurped Palestine?
The irony is that, the US, Britain, France, and Germany, which are totally indifferent to the plight of the Palestinians and have no intentions of ever saving them from the holocaust, are pressuring them to accept the unjustified terms of the aggressor. 
The Palestinian Resistance Movement which has refused to surrender to its avowed enemy in spite of the sufferings of the past seven months should not agree to any such pseudo truce, which is actually a license to the Zionist entity for total destruction of Gaza after a pause.
Thanks to the lobbying of the Free World, the International Criminal Court (ICC) which has identified the illegal Zionist entity as the aggressor is in the process of issuing arrest warrants for Israeli war criminals.
The world has awakened to the genocide in Gaza as is evident by worldwide protests against Israel that have spread to universities throughout the US and Europe, with calls for freedom of Palestine – from the banks of the River Jordan to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea . 
All this is indicative of the victory that eventually awaits the Palestinians and the cleansing of the cobweb called Israel, which is being hopeless propped up by the genocidal regimes of Washington, London, Paris, and Berlin.
