President: Non-Oil Exports Hit Record High
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s non-oil exports have hit a record high, President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday, noting such a success has been achieved despite sanctions.
Rouhani said the country exported around $50 billion worth of non-oil goods in the Iranian year of 1393, which ends on Friday. "Despite the sanctions and reduction in oil price, the Iranian nation achieved big successes in different arenas,” he added. In foreign policy, Iran managed to improve its relations with the neighbors. He also hailed the country’s handling of nuclear talks with six world powers.
